Laughing keeps you healthy! Take care of your beautiful smile with us!
Avoiding smiling, due to the dental problems, creates a very serious psychological trauma. We try to cover our problem, but the solution is simple. We are able to find an appropriate method that is within your financial means.
The problem of crooked tooth can be solved by orthodontics, but not everyone decides to wear orthodontic apparatus. In most of cases porcelain veneers can perfectly change shape and position of tooth.
If a tooth is darker than the remaining ones it means that it is necrotic. In this situation, apart from whitening, we propose a ceramic crown that will improve its colour and will protect it against breakage. The application of a composite material is also a positive esthetic solution.
Discolored fillings that do not match the natural color of our teeth lower the esthetic appeal of our smile. For fear of a tooth damage we don’t want to change it in every case. If there is no caries under the filling, we can cover it with the new esthetic layer. Such ‘improvement’ is not harmful. On the contrary, it improves the esthetic appeal. If , however, furrows are visible, we can change the whole filling not because of ugly look but in order to prevent bacteria from getting under the filling and damaging (at the beginning in painless way) the tooth.
When we were young we used to have snow- white teeth. As we were getting older, our teeth became yellow. It simply means that the teeth enamel is susceptible to staining substances from food, coffee, juice, tea ect. Nowadays we can reverse this process by applying a whitening gel. It will make the stains to go away from your teeth enamel. This method is also efficient if you've always had yellow teeth. Don't we like the white teeth of Hollywood actors? Let's whiten our teeth, they did it long time ago. In our Practice we use Opalesscence whitening gel, manufactured by the Ultradent company (USA).
Bacterial plaque is the biggest enemy of both teeth and gums. It is a sticky bacterial film that gathers on your teeth. When it reaches your gums, it can even lead to a tooth loss. In order to avoid this, you should clean your teeth every six months in a dental office. We do this in a manual or mechanical way by means of curettage or ultrasounds. Every tooth should be cleaned individually and thoroughly from every side. Properly cleaned teeth accompanied by a good oral hygiene prevent plaque and tartar from building up. After a cleaning procedure, your teeth are protected with a fluoride product.
